Vacancy: Web Design / Developer — CLOSED
We are looking to expand our Design studio with young, enthusiastic and eager individuals. We are forever learning and growing and intend to help you grow with us. You will be required to create HTML/CSS Web sites, content pages, and Web optimized graphics. You will also be responsible for managing updates to existing sites and helping create new sites.
Duties:
- Supporting Sr. Web Designer with additional Web design tasks, as needed
- Creating HTML/CSS templates for new sites
- Updating existing websites when necessary
- Selecting, optimizing, and cropping images for inclusion in online Decision Support Centers
Skills:
Background and Experience
- 2-5 years experience in Web design
- BA in Graphic Design, Digital Arts, or related degree preferred
- Portfolio of Web design work
- Enthusiastic, young, eager
Technical Skills
- Proficient using web design software such as Dreamweaver
- Proficiency with Photoshop and Illustrator
- Ability to code in full HTML and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets)
- Knowledge of design, layout, typography, and color fundamentals
- Working knowledge of Flash a plus
- Knowledge of JavaScript a plus
- Knowledge of PHP and SQL a plus
Project Management and Other Skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Strong conceptual thinking with great attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid organizational and time management skills
